Determining a Snow Day School Closure
Humanex Academy will close if two of the four major districts close including Jeffco, Cherry Creek, Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County OR if a large number of small districts/private schools in our area are closing.
Closures are posted on news sites, social media, as well as our website AND you will receive a text.
However, parents are always the authority on travel in inclement weather, so please choose what is best for your student and your travel situation.
Determining a Snow Day Late Start
Colorado weather changes rapidly! It can snow in some places while other places remain dry. If it snows overnight, we will monitor other school late starts as well as weather conditions to help us determine a Snow Day Late Start for Humanex Academy students and staff. The 10:15 Late Start will be posted on social media, news sites, and you will receive a text.
We will follow a 10:15 Late Start Schedule for the day.
Parents are always the authority on travel in inclement weather and road conditions, so please do what is best for you and your student. If you determine that it is best for your student to remain at home, please call the front desk at 303-783-0137 to leave a message about your decision because we do take attendance on Late Start Days.
