Humanex Academy is looking for a Math & Elective Teacher
Our new teacher will:
Teach high school mathematics, including Algebra 1, Foundation Math, Consumer Math, and Personal Finance.
Develop and teach a middle school elective based on student interests and the teacher’s own strengths, interests, and expertise. Differentiate instruction for students with diverse learning profiles, skill levels, and experiences.
Create a structured, supportive classroom where students can build confidence, independence, and academic skills.
Collaborate with a team of educators who value curiosity, relationships, and continuous growth.
We are seeking an educator with previous classroom teaching experience, strong math content knowledge, and a solid foundation in instructional practice. Additionally, we prefer someone who has experience with neurodivergent learners, special education, or high school math. A Colorado teaching license is preferred but not required.
Our ideal candidate is calm, curious, flexible, organized and relationship-driven as well as someone who balances empathy with clear expectations and enjoys finding new approaches when students need additional support.
Annual salary: $49,000 – $52,000 base (pro-rated for a January start)
