Employment Opportunity: Full Time Math/Science Teacher
Humanex Academy is currently looking for a teacher possessing a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree who is interested in bringing creativity and out of the box thinking to their classroom.
Applicants must be detailed-oriented, organized, flexible, and have an empathy-based approach to student interaction and classroom management.
Preference will be given to teachers who have a Colorado Dept. of Education teacher’s license and/or special education endorsement as well as those who have worked with neurodiverse populations in the past, especially with students on the Autism Spectrum or have identified as 2e.
In addition, applicants must have strong communication skills, the ability and desire to collaborate with coworkers, the capacity to think quickly, and be able to make decisions independently. This position requires the ability to develop and facilitate new lessons to meet the needs of each student, accurately track and report data, and engage in administrative functions and fundraising efforts.
Applicants must be comfortable learning, teaching with, and using technology. be responsible and well-organized, have an impeccable attendance record, and be able to work within set guidelines. Applicants must also possess the ability to follow standardize assessment and confidentiality guidelines.
Compensation: $43,000 – $50,000 starting salary based on credentials and experience.
